What is the lead time for a custom tabletop?
Our standard lead time for custom tabletops is 3–4 weeks, depending on wood species, size, and current production volume.
Every tabletop is built to order, fully finished, and inspected before shipping. Larger commercial or restaurant projects may require a slightly longer window, but we’ll always provide an accurate estimate up front.
Do your tabletops come with bases or legs included?
No, tabletops are sold as standalone tops by default. However, if you need legs or a custom base, we can supply or craft one.

Can I order a tabletop in exact custom dimensions?
Absolutely. Every tabletop is made to order, so you can specify exact length, width, thickness, corner radius, and edge profile. We precision-mill everything in-house for an exact fit to your space or base.
Do your tabletops include C-channel reinforcement for stability?
Yes, C-channel steel reinforcement is available and recommended for larger tabletops or heavy-use environments. Channels are installed flush into the underside of the top to prevent long-term movement while keeping the design completely hidden.
What is the best wood species for a custom dining tabletop?
Walnut and White Oak are the most popular choices for dining tables because they balance durability, beauty, and long-term stability.
Maple, Cherry, and Mahogany are also excellent options depending on the style you’re targeting. Red Oak and Knotty Alder provide strong value at a more budget-friendly price.

How thick should a solid wood tabletop be for dining, desks, or restaurants?
For most dining tables and desks, 1.5 to 2 inches is the ideal range.
For heavy-use restaurant environments, 1.5 inches provides the best balance of durability, weight, and cost.
Larger statement pieces, conference tables, or commercial builds often use 2 inches or thicker for a more substantial look.

Here are the most common seating guidelines:

Round tables follow similar rules:
