Sink & Stove Cutouts
We CNC-cut sink and stove openings into your countertop before finishing, so every exposed edge is sealed against moisture. Add the cutout option ($150) to any countertop in the Builder, then send us your sink template or the manufacturer’s spec sheet after ordering.
Undermount, drop-in, and farmhouse styles are all supported. If your spec is unusual, request a quote and we’ll review it by hand.
Cut on our CNC, not by hand
Precision to your template
Every sink and stove opening is machined on our CNC directly from your template, not traced and jigsawed by hand. The profile, the corner radii, and any faucet or fixture holes land exactly where your spec puts them, accurate to a fraction of an inch.
Because the cut is driven by the file, a run of matching tops comes out identical piece to piece, which matters for multi-unit and commercial orders.
Sealed against moisture
We cut the opening before finishing, then seal every exposed inside edge with the same 100% VOC-free hardwax oil as the surface. That is where a hand-cut, unsealed opening usually fails: water wicks into the raw edge. Ours has nowhere to get in.
What we support
Undermount, drop-in & farmhouse
Undermount sinks get a clean, radiused opening with the wood edge sealed and exposed below the counter line. Drop-in (top-mount) sinks and cooktops get an opening sized to the manufacturer’s cutout dimensions. Apron / farmhouse sinks are supported with a front notch cut to your basin.
Send your template after ordering
Add the cutout option ($150) to any countertop in the Builder, then send us your sink template or the manufacturer’s spec sheet. We confirm exact size and placement with you before we cut, so nothing is left to guesswork.
Something unusual?
Special requests welcome
Integrated drainboards, double cutouts, a workstation sink ledge, a stone-to-wood transition — if your spec is out of the ordinary, contact us and we’ll review your drawing by hand before you order, or request a quote and we’ll price the whole top.
