Black Oak Face Grain Wood Countertops

Our Black Oak face grain countertops deliver a dramatic hardwood presence characterized by rich brown coloration and strong, expressive grain patterns. Black Oak’s natural depth and bold texture make it a striking choice for interiors seeking modern sophistication with authentic, organic character.

Each countertop is handcrafted to order in our New York workshop and custom-built to your exact dimensions and layout. The face grain orientation highlights Black Oak’s distinctive grain movement and tonal variation, creating a smooth yet visually dynamic surface. Its dark, refined aesthetic pairs beautifully with modern cabinetry, stone accents, matte metals, and design-forward residential or commercial environments.

Durable, stable, and visually powerful, a Black Oak face grain countertop brings warmth, depth, and premium hardwood craftsmanship to kitchens, vanities, bars, offices, boutiques, and hospitality installations that benefit from a bold, architectural hardwood surface.

Details, Care & Shipping

Where can I use a solid hardwood countertop?

Our hardwood countertops are designed for kitchens, islands, bathroom vanities, commercial bars, restaurant counters, office workspaces, and custom installations.

How do I clean and maintain the finish?

For cleaning, simply wipe with mild soap and water or a gentle all-purpose cleaner. Avoid extremely harsh or abrasive chemicals to preserve the wood’s natural appearance. If you prefer a wood-safe option, we offer an approved cleaner here: Hardwood Surface Cleaner.

How long does a made-to-order piece take?

Each countertop is handcrafted to order. Standard production time is 3–4 weeks, depending on species, size, and customization. If you have a project deadline or need expedited scheduling, please contact us through our Contact Page for assistance.

How is it shipped and delivered?

We ship countertops nationwide. Smaller tops may ship parcel, while large island tops and long-span countertops ship via freight. Every countertop is securely packaged or crated to protect the piece during transit. Tracking details are provided once the order ships.

What makes these countertops different?
