Our Iroko floating shelf is built from 100% solid Iroko hardwood — never veneer, never composites — milled to your exact dimensions in our Farmingdale, New York shop. Iroko reads rich golden-brown with gently interlocked grain — the African hardwood called African teak, dense with natural oils and rated for outdoor life; untreated outdoors it weathers to an even silver-grey patina, oiled it keeps its gold.
Every piece is hand-sanded and sealed with our food-safe, 100% VOC-free hardwax oil (or shipped unfinished at a discount), and delivered crated with free lift-gate freight in the continental US. Price your exact size instantly — the number you see is the delivered price.

Where can I use custom hardwood shelves?
Our hardwood shelves are designed for kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, home offices, retail displays, and commercial environments. Each shelf is custom-sized and crafted from premium hardwood, making it strong enough for décor, dishware, books, and everyday storage while maintaining a clean, modern look.
How do I clean and maintain the finish?
All shelves are finished with a premium, 100% VOC-free hardwax oil for exceptional protection and a natural matte appearance. The finish is commercial-grade and resistant to moisture, fingerprints, and everyday cleaning products. For cleaning, simply wipe with mild soap and water or a gentle all-purpose cleaner. How long does a made-to-order piece take?
Each shelf is handcrafted to order. Standard production time is 3–4 weeks, depending on size, species, and bracket selection. If you need your shelving by a specific date, please contact us through our Contact Page for timeline requests.
How is it shipped and delivered?
We ship floating shelves nationwide. Smaller shelves typically ship parcel, while longer or thicker shelves may ship freight. Every shelf is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit, and tracking information is provided once shipped.
How do the floating shelf brackets work?
Our shelves can be paired with optional hidden floating brackets for a clean, modern look. When brackets are selected, we pre-bore and align the backside of each shelf for a perfect fit. Installation is as simple as mounting the bracket to the wall and sliding the shelf on. Learn more on our Floating Bracket System page.
What’s included with my shelf order?
Each order includes your custom hardwood shelf, finished and ready for installation. If you select the floating bracket upgrade, the shelf arrives pre-bored to match your bracket system. Installation instructions are included, and additional support is available through our Contact Page.
