The North Shore’s Wood Shop
The Gold Coast is home-field: Manhasset kitchen islands, Oyster Bay waterfront dining rooms, Huntington libraries with floor-to-ceiling walnut shelving — all a short run up the highway from the Farmingdale shop.
North Shore projects tend to be designer-led and detail-heavy, and that suits how we work: hand-picked boards approved before milling, finishes matched to existing millwork, and white-glove delivery timed to the decorator’s calendar, not a freight carrier’s.
Delivery: White-glove delivery and placement across the North Shore — Manhasset, Port Washington, Oyster Bay, Cold Spring Harbor, Huntington, Northport — often within days of finishing. Current production lead time is 3–4 weeks.

Can I see the actual boards before you build?
On the North Shore, yes — you’re twenty minutes from the shop. Local customers can review the hand-picked boards for their piece before milling; email info@hardtwoodus.com to set a time.
Do you work with North Shore designers?
Much of our Gold Coast work arrives as a designer’s spec sheet. Trade accounts get tier pricing, direct shop communication, and delivery scheduled around the install.
Can you match existing millwork or stain?
Often, yes — send a photo or a sample of what the piece must live beside and we’ll advise the species and stain that gets there, with a physical sample to confirm.
Do you take on custom or one-off projects?
Yes. Beyond the online builder, we take on custom sizes, oversized pieces, matched commercial runs, and bespoke solid-hardwood millwork. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll quote it by hand, usually within one business day. Start a custom project ›
