Shaker Cabinet Doors in Solid Hardwood
Shaker cabinet doors routed from one solid hardwood panel, so the grain runs through stiles, rails and panel and there is no joint to open. Seven inside-edge profiles, three frame widths, a flat or beadboard panel, any size, in sixteen woods, finished or unfinished.
Solid wood shaker cabinet doors, routed from one panel
A traditional shaker door is five pieces glued at the corners; ours is one. The frame and the panel are routed from a single glue-up of solid hardwood on the CNC, so the grain runs uninterrupted through stile, rail and panel, nothing can open at a joint, and the inside edge takes whichever of our seven profiles you choose, from a square Classic or Slim pocket to a cove, three bevels and an ogee. Stiles and rails come 1 in, 2 1/4 in or 3 in wide; the panel is flat or beadboard.
White oak shaker cabinet doors are the kitchen most people are picturing, and walnut, maple and cherry shaker doors are the three behind it, but every one of our sixteen woods is here, in every color it offers or as unfinished shaker cabinet doors for your own finisher. The pocket leaves a 9/16 in panel at the 7/8 in thickness we recommend over 10 in wide, and 7/16 in at 3/4 in, which is fine under it. Every front is cut from one bundle, to your sizes, with hinge boring for IKEA Sektion or your pattern.
Shaker Cabinet Doors: Questions Before You Order
Our shaker doors are routed from one solid hardwood panel rather than assembled from five pieces, so there is no joint to open and the grain runs through the whole front. The questions below cover the profiles, the frame widths, the panel and the thickness; the Builder prices your list live.
