Our European White Oak face grain tabletops deliver a refined, timeless look with their pale honey tones, tight grain, and naturally elegant character. European White Oak is known for its stability, subtle texture, and gentle medullary flecking—making it a favorite in modern, Scandinavian, coastal, rustic, and transitional interiors.

Each tabletop is handcrafted in our New York workshop and custom-built to your exact dimensions. The face grain orientation highlights European White Oak’s clean grain structure and balanced movement, resulting in a smooth, sophisticated surface that feels warm but never overpowering. Its neutral coloring and reliable hardwood performance make it an ideal choice for dining tables, office desks, restaurant tabletops, conference tables, and commercial environments that demand durability.

With its soft, inviting color palette and long-term stability, a European White Oak face grain tabletop brings elevated craftsmanship and natural beauty to any residential or commercial space. If you want a surface that feels bright, modern, and enduring, European White Oak is one of the most versatile hardwoods you can choose.

Usage

Our hardwood tabletops are built for a wide range of residential and commercial applications, including dining tables, office desks, conference tables, kitchen islands, and retail or hospitality spaces.

Finish, Care & Maintenance

Our tabletops are sealed with a premium, 100% VOC-free hardwax oil engineered for commercial-grade durability.

The finish is highly resistant to spills, stains, moisture, and everyday chemicals, making it ideal for restaurants, cafés, offices, and busy homes. It provides a natural matte sheen that enhances the wood grain while protecting it for long-term use.

Cleaning is simple — wipe with a mild soap-and-water solution or a gentle all-purpose cleaner. While the finish can handle regular commercial cleaning products, we recommend avoiding extremely harsh or abrasive chemicals to preserve the natural look of the wood.

If you prefer a wood-safe solution, we offer an approved cleaner here: Hardwood Surface Cleaner.

View available finish options on our Color Swatches page.

Lead Times

Each tabletop is handcrafted to order, with typical production times of 1–3 weeks, depending on size, species, and finish. If you have a project deadline or need expedited scheduling, please reach out through our Contact page.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship tabletops nationwide. Smaller pieces ship parcel, while larger dining or conference tops ship via freight.

Every tabletop is professionally packaged and secured for safe transport. You’ll receive tracking details once your order has shipped.

C-Channel Reinforcement

For wider or longer tabletops, optional steel C-channel reinforcement can be added to the underside for increased stability and long-term flatness.

This upgrade is recommended for commercial installations or extra-large builds. Learn more about how C-channels work on our C-Channel Reinforcement page.

European White Oak

European White Oak is a premium hardwood known for its cooler, modern tone and clean, consistent grain pattern. Its high tannin content and naturally dense cell structure give it excellent durability and moisture resistance, making it a standout choice for kitchens, bars, vanities, and commercial environments. With a Janka hardness of about 1,360 lbf—similar to American White Oak but with greater visual uniformity—European White Oak delivers both strength and elevated design. Versatile, structurally stable, and highly receptive to natural or stained finishes, it brings a timeless, architectural look that works beautifully in modern, Scandinavian, and transitional interiors.
