Walnut Thick Veneer Tabletop Details:
Walnut hardwood is dark, hard, dense and tight-grained. It's prized for its strength, grain and beautiful color. It polishes to a very smooth finish, and the color ranges from creamy white in the sapwood to a dark chocolate in the heartwood.
Our veneer is made from real solid hardwood that is cut 1/4 inch thick that way it can handle the wear and tear that restaurant tables need to endure (industry standard veneer is cut paper thin).
An affordable choice these tops are laminated over 3/4 plywood ensuring that your table tops are sturdy and will never warp. A solid hardwood border is joined to add thickness & a routed edge detail of your choice.

About Walnut
The easily worked, close-grained wood of the black walnut has long been prized by furniture- and cabinetmakers for its attractive color and exceptional durability.
Black walnut’s large, fernlike foliage provides light, airy shade for those grasses and ground covers not affected by juglone. In autumn, the leaves turn bright yellow, contrasting nicely with the tree’s rugged, dark bark.
